IMPLANT & FULL CROWN REHABILITATION

Upper Jaw: 14 zirconium crowns
Lower Jaw: 14 zirconium crowns
Total: 28 zirconium crowns
Ashley initially received comprehensive restorative treatment in January 2024 at another clinic, involving full arch zirconium crown restorations. In December 2025, he attended our clinic as an aftercare patient due to functional concerns in the upper jaw and fractures affecting several crowns.
A detailed clinical and radiographic assessment was carried out to evaluate crown integrity, marginal adaptation, occlusion, and load distribution across both arches. The treatment plan focused on preserving the existing restorations where possible while addressing the failed prosthetic components.
Damaged zirconium crowns in the upper arch were carefully removed and replaced. Occlusion was reassessed and adjusted to eliminate excessive forces and improve functional balance between the upper and lower arches. This approach aimed to restore durability, comfort, and long term stability without unnecessary overtreatment.
This targeted aftercare strategy ensured controlled force distribution, improved prosthetic performance, and predictable long term outcomes.
At presentation, Ashley reported discomfort and functional issues related to the upper jaw. Radiographic evaluation confirmed the presence of full arch zirconium crown restorations in both arches, with visible fractures affecting several upper crowns.
The pre treatment panoramic image demonstrates the compromised condition of the upper restorations prior to aftercare intervention, highlighting the need for prosthetic correction and occlusal adjustment.
Post treatment panoramic imaging confirmed stable, well seated zirconium crown restorations across both arches, with repaired and replaced crowns in the upper jaw. Improved occlusal alignment and crown integrity were observed.
Following treatment, Ashley regained comfortable chewing function and enhanced prosthetic stability, supported by a structured aftercare approach focused on longevity and maintenance.
