IMPLANT & FULL CROWN REHABILITATION

Kathryn Hurley, from the UK

Treatment Type

Upper Jaw: All on 5
Lower Jaw: All on 6

TREATMENT PLAN

A full arch implant rehabilitation was planned for both jaws using a combined All on 5 and All on 6 approach, tailored to the anatomical conditions and bone availability of each arch. Five implants were placed in the upper jaw to achieve stable anterior posterior support while respecting anatomical structures and available bone volume. Six implants were placed in the lower jaw to enhance load distribution and provide increased long term stability.

Implant positioning was carefully planned to optimise bone utilisation and ensure balanced force transmission across both arches. Posterior implants were placed with controlled angulation where required to maximise support and minimise stress concentrations.

Following implant placement, a structured healing period was observed to allow full osseointegration. After successful integration, fixed screw retained full arch prostheses were fabricated and delivered to restore function, strength, and occlusal balance.

This staged and individualised approach ensured predictable healing, prosthetic accuracy, and durable long term outcomes.

BEFORE

At initial presentation, Kathryn presented with extensive tooth loss and reduced functional stability in both jaws, significantly affecting chewing efficiency and comfort.

The pre treatment panoramic radiograph illustrates compromised dentition and bone conditions, highlighting the need for a complete implant supported rehabilitation to restore long term oral function and stability.

AFTER

Post treatment panoramic imaging confirmed successful integration of all implants in both arches, with well positioned All on 5 and All on 6 supported restorations. Implant alignment and distribution provided stable support for the final prostheses.

Following treatment, Kathryn regained effective chewing function, improved comfort, and long term stability through a fixed, implant supported solution designed for reliability and predictable performance.
