IMPLANT & FULL CROWN REHABILITATION

Upper Jaw: All on 6
Adjunct Procedures: 2 closed sinus lifting procedures
A full arch implant rehabilitation was planned for the upper jaw using the All on 6 concept to achieve enhanced stability and long term load distribution. Six implants were strategically positioned to maximise available bone support and provide a strong, balanced foundation for a fixed full arch prosthesis.
Due to limited bone height in the posterior maxilla, two closed sinus lifting procedures were performed to safely increase vertical bone availability and allow secure implant placement without the need for extensive grafting. This minimally invasive approach supported predictable healing while maintaining sinus integrity.
Following implant placement, a controlled healing period was observed to allow complete osseointegration. After successful integration, a fixed, screw retained full arch prosthesis was delivered to restore function, strength, and occlusal stability.
This staged and carefully planned approach ensured biological safety, accurate implant positioning, and long term prosthetic reliability.
At initial presentation, Stephen demonstrated significant tooth loss and reduced functional stability in the upper jaw, affecting chewing efficiency and overall comfort.
The pre treatment panoramic radiograph illustrates compromised posterior bone volume, highlighting the need for sinus elevation and a comprehensive implant supported rehabilitation.
Post treatment panoramic imaging confirmed successful integration of all six implants in the upper jaw, with stable positioning following closed sinus lifting procedures. Implant alignment provided adequate support for the final prosthesis.
Following treatment, Stephen regained effective chewing function, improved comfort, and long term stability through a fixed, implant supported solution designed for predictable performance and durability.
