IMPLANT & FULL CROWN REHABILITATION

Stuart Sinclair, from the UK

Treatment Type

Upper Jaw: All on 6
Lower Jaw: 4 tooth extractions, 2 root canal treatments, and 12 dental crowns

TREATMENT PLAN

A combined implant and restorative rehabilitation was planned to address advanced tooth loss and functional compromise in the upper jaw, alongside restorative needs in the lower jaw.

For the upper jaw, an All on 6 protocol was selected to provide enhanced stability, optimal load distribution, and long term durability. Six implants were strategically placed to maximise available bone support and create a strong foundation for a fixed full arch prosthesis.

In the lower jaw, four severely compromised teeth were extracted to eliminate infection and instability. Two teeth required root canal treatment to preserve natural tooth structure and maintain functional support. Following stabilisation, twelve dental crowns were placed to restore tooth integrity, occlusal balance, and chewing efficiency.

A staged approach was followed, allowing appropriate healing and integration before final prosthetic delivery. This ensured biological safety, prosthetic accuracy, and predictable long term outcomes.

BEFORE

At initial presentation, Stuart exhibited significant tooth loss and reduced functional stability in the upper jaw, alongside compromised and heavily restored teeth in the lower jaw. Chewing efficiency and comfort were notably affected.

The pre treatment panoramic radiograph illustrates the extent of dental deterioration and the need for a comprehensive implant supported solution in the upper jaw, combined with targeted restorative care in the lower jaw.

AFTER

Post treatment panoramic imaging confirmed successful integration of all six implants in the upper jaw with stable positioning of the full arch prosthesis. In the lower jaw, restored teeth showed improved structural integrity and balanced occlusion following extractions, root canal treatments, and crown placement.

Following treatment, Stuart regained effective chewing function, improved comfort, and long term stability through a carefully planned combination of implant and restorative dentistry designed for durability and predictable performance.
